Since I have more time to devote to reviews I'd be willing to entertain offers to review material. Let's use this thread and just respond. If I can do it I will.

ah, yeah, Dunkirk, I dare you, but you gotta review the score as both a standalone work, and as scored in the film, so you would be required to see the film if you have not already.

I released an album in the 1990s. Would you mind reviewing it for me?

new classical.

Right now I'm listening to Eduard Strauss on a new Marco Polo release. I also downloaded Tulip Fever from Sony, written by Elfman.

Rory, I'm sick to death of telling you that there are no monkeys in Planet of the Apes.

My serious request for a review concerns the CINEMA OF QUINCY JONES cd set:

Does the audio quality of THE ITALIAN JOB tracks on the CINEMA OF QUINCY JONES set sound better than the original 2000 MCA cd of THE ITALIAN JOB?

I have the 2000 MCA cd and was wondering if the CINEMA OF QUINCY JONES is worth buying if it has better audio quality.

A serious answer. I owned a camera store for nearly 30 years and during that time I never reviewed only purchased. I bought a house at the right price in San Diego and life was good. When the stroke happened in 2004 my whole world was turned upside down. My wife left me saying she couldn't take care of me. Early on I couldn't shave, brush my teeth, bathe, not even able to boil water on the stove. Through the sale of the store and intensive therapy I was able to recover enough to where I am today. My left leg is paralyzed still but my arm has recovered to being able to take care of myself. I live alone. One of the things I do to occupy my time is to write, read, play scrabble on line. I have a good friend who takes me to the doctor, washes my clothes, gets my prescriptions and grocery shops. Pretty much my life. You make the best of it. I'd love to be able to get out of the chair and just walk away but I've pretty much given up on that idea. Answer your question?

Sir, you have the profound respect of your beloved Onya Birri. Sending you positive vibes. Are you still in San Diego? If you are able to get out, I would love to treat you to rum cocktails at the Bali Hai next time I am there.

I'm in Minneapolis now for economic reasons. It is a lot cheaper to live here. And it's much easier to get around. With the climatic change the winters have been mild as well as the summers. We're around 70. I thank you so much for you're response. You made my day.

Minneapolis is a great city. I spent several months there about 25 years ago. I will continue reading your blog. Great to see you posting here again.
