Something's gone wrong with the times displayed next to posts. Apparently some of the threads at the top of the page were posted four hours in the future.
The board was down for a few hours today, I suspect that had something to do with it.
The last person I heard use the phrase "What the deuce..." was the sweetest 94-year-old lady I ever met. This reaffirms that you, Octoberman, you are still my best-est pal on the board.
And this reaffirms that you are a brother-from-another-mother, you silver-tongued devil, you.
(Which is not to say that there ain't a BUNCH of really good folks hanging around these parts--'cause there are!!)
So, I woke up this morning and tried to access this site... but every attempt failed. At 1pm UK time it finally appeared, presumably because someone in the US noticed the problem and fixed it.
I am really starting to fear for the future of this board. In the last month, there have been more problems than ever before.
Yeah, its usually cranky in the late mornings or afternoons, but it was a beast last night. Just super slow, or wouldn't load at all. Weird as there's normally a lot less traffic in the am. But it is what it is.
