Have been hooked on this score lately (thanks to bobbengan's uploading) and bought the album as it was cheap enough.
Almost Goldsmithian (or Chris Youngian) at some points. I don't mean in the sense it's a steal of any sort, I mean that as a compliment to this score's merits.
The end credits especially is sublime and closes the score sweetly.
I've come across the name Daniel Licht here and there and haven't given his work a listen until recently. Is this as good as he gets, or are there other works of his out there worth a looksie?

Pick up CHILDREN OF THE CORN 2! An excellent thematic horror score. The beautiful, tender woodwind writing almost recalls Elmer Bernstein's wonderful softer side. It's a crying shame Licht was never able to explore more of this side to his writing, it's wonderfully rich and dramatically potent:

The ensemble is smaller than BAD MOON's but the ideas are great, there's a variety of material ranging from OMEN-esque choral writing to the gorgeous thematic stuff above to brazenly experimental synth-and-banjo horror music, and it's all presented in a great +/- 40 min. album presentation that works perfectly as a listening experience.
