ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD---Al Pacino will play Marvin Schwarz, the agent of Leonardo DiCaprio's character, in the Quentin Tarantino movie based on the Charles Manson Cult murders.
STAR WARS: EPISODE IX---Colin Trevorrow commented on if the failure of his BOOK OF HENRY was a factor in him being fired from EPISODE IX, "You know, I don’t know. I mean, I can’t really speculate on it. I’ll tell you that the reaction to BOOK OF HENRY was far more damaging than the actual movie. And I don’t mean specifically at Lucasfilm. I mean, that was a very acidic situation. And, look, every director who has worked in Lucasfilm put their heart and soul into the job and they left it all on the field, and the bottom line here is that sometimes creative people can’t find a shared path through the woods."

ARE YOU SLEEPING---Octavia Spencer and Lizzy Caplan star in this new Apple tv series about a true-crime podcaster who reopens the investigation of the murder of the father of twin sisters. Apple is also developing a tv series based on the novel SHANTARAM.
ORPHAN X---tv series underway based on the assassin novel series.
ATLANTA---FX renewed the series for Season 3.
TRIVIA---in the original THE LONGEST YARD, Paul Crewe (Burt Reynolds) is sent to prison after stealing the Citroen SM from his girlfriend, Melissa (Anitra Ford). Ford is better known as one of Bob Barker's original "Barker's Beauties" on THE PRICE IS RIGHT.

The door closing bit was pretty funny. The guy holding his mask up was a bit oddly staged. Be interesting to see if it's any good. Be interesting to hear what Carpenter comes up with too.
