James Garner had a nice variety of movies with great but yet obscure composers ( or better unreleased, overlooked ones ..)

Like
THEY ONLY KILL THEIR MASTERS by Perry Botkin jr.
MARLOWE by Peter Matz
THE CASTAWAY COWBOY by Robert F. Brunner ( this guy is just fantastic ...but no releases whatsoever)
A MAN CALLED SLEDGE by Gianno Ferrio
LATIGO by Jack Elliot and Allan Furgerson
SKIN GAME by David Shire
SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SHERIFF by Jeff Alexander
HOW SWEET IT IS by Patrick Williams
A MAN COULD GET KILLED by Gert Kaempfert
CASH MC CALL by Max Steiner ( Who???? )
THE PINK JUNGLE by Ernie Freeman

etcetc..

Some one should have a heart and release some of those diamondssmile

Don't know about obscure. He had some great ones:

SAYONARA, THE GREAT ESCAPE, GRAND PRIX, ONE LITTLE INDIAN, MAVERICK, SPACE COWBOYS, ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE, THE NOTEBOOK etc.

Did Murphy's Romance have any incidental music score in it? I know Carol King is listed as composer, but I don't remember if it was songs or both. Good movie, by the way... smile

I know you're specifically asking about film scores but I would really love to see a compilation from The Rockford Files. There's some wonderful music clips on YT.

I've always liked Mancini's Victor/Victoria.
