The plant is still working on it so we won't have it in time, but we'll double it up with the other release coming in two weeks. Here's a clue - Mid-90s bio pic gets an expanded edition!

Nixon?

Doubtful.

"Nixon" fits, but I've never been under the impression that the CD was missing a lot of music - wasn't this actually one of those CDs with more music on the album than was heard in the film?

The clue could also point to something more obscure like "8 Seconds" by Bill Conti.

Norma Jean and Marilyn?

Already released by Intrada... so maybe they have the ability to expand it?

Of course, it probably IS Cobb.. I just bought the original release... figures!

Are we entering the dawn of expanded Goldenthals?

That was released in 1992, just like another possible contender Hoffa. Speaking of Goldenthal, I'd rule out Michael Collins (1996), an actually biographical film from the mid 90s as there's nothing much if anything that is not on the album. I suggest Rob Roy (1995) by Burwell.

I liked that movie a lot... but I'm not sure I'd call it a "bio pic". More like a good old fashioned adventure yarn with plenty of blood and guts.

Apollo 13?

A grail score for me and I hope it sees release in complete form one day.

How about FORREST GUMP? It was released in '94. I love Alan Silvestri's score - it's by turns rousing and heartfelt and sad and stirring. Not sure how much of it could be expanded, though, since at least half of the music from the movie was rock/pop songs of the eras in which it was set...

Not really a biopic.

Wait, does Richie think that the events of Forrest Gump actually happened?

Forrest Gump is history fan-fic, just like Nixon!

BTW, I certainly hope this release is Nixon. There are substantial cues missing from album.
