If you're not going to a Party and just staying home, are you planning on watching any particular film this Halloween? I know Halloween isn't followed in Britain, (not really), and forget about Norway, but if you're viewing anything significant this October 31'st, care to share?

My tradition is to watch SALEM'S LOT (1979) while Mrs. Phelps deals with the ever-decreasing number of trick-or-treaters each year.

We always go to the same place for our yearly Halloween party, but we do have two rooms showing horror movies during the night.

This years theme: "Killer Children".

The Brood; The Omen (1976); Let The Right One In; Eden Lake; Who Can Kill A Child?; Them (2006); The Pit; Bloody Birthday; The Bad Seed (1956); Village Of The Damned (1964) and if there's time "Children Of The Corn (1984)

Halloween has got more and more popular in the UK over the last few years...arguably due to US influence....myself, I'll be donning the Boiler Suit and Mask and heading to my local cineworld to hopefully make a few scream.....in the meantime I'm trying to do two horror movies per day....today it's Halloween at the flicks, then home for Malevolent.

As always, the Universal Frankenstein, Bride of and Son of. I lead up to these by watching the Universals all month.

I just watched the new Halloween movie and was pretty happy with it.

On Halloween day I usually do a Halloween marathon, part 1,2 and 3. Maybe Maximum Overdrive if I’m still awake.

I shall be watching The good the bad and the ugly and throwing a bucket of water out the bedroom window for any trick or treaters who dare disturb me! wink

I'm in with this. Been watching Bride every Halloween for some years now. It's one of my all-time favourite films, and as such I feel like it's my duty to watch one of the best ever horror films at this time. I'd love to be able to do all three like you, but then I'd love to do the whole series finishing with Abbott and Costello! Unfortunately time doesn't permit. Doing Bride tends to be a minor feat. Wife hates horror (yeah, I know I do tell her exactly how horrific the old Universals are these days!).

Love it! You could lie in wait and when they come to the door, you could do the Tuco's howl motif loud as you please at the kids. That'll scare 'em good and proper!

My Halloween standards are Night of the Living Dead and The Exorcist. Maybe Carpenter's The Thing this year.

Do you squint whenever you hear them pounding at the door and say, "That could be cannon fire...?"

I watch the original THE THING on Halloween.
Leading up to Halloween, I watch THE NIGHT STALKER and then THE NIGHT STRANGLER.

The good news is all three are out or will be on Blu-ray.
