Yeah, the fans have only just prematurely trashed and buried SOLO and now they should churn out a teaser on IX they can bitch about? Wouldn't be too swift a move.

I totally agree with you on these points, Thor. It's interesting that the people who bitched the most about Solo were the people who didn't actually go see it, so they knew nothing about the film they were standing around screaming about.

Not better than Rogue One, but definitely better than The Last Jedi. Good cast, except for Glover. He was a lousy Lando. Billy Dee should go kick him in his hind quarters.

Yep. I loved Solo... tremendous fun and yeah wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better than The Last Jedi and Rogue One ( although that one had some great moments ) .
the Force Awakens had a trailer in November 2014, over a year early! That was a special occasion, though.
Rogue One and The Last Jedi had their first teasers in April (8 months prior to release, and conveniently timed to go in front of the springtime Marvel release). The theatrical trailers followed in October, 2 months prior to release.
Solo had the small window between The Last Jedi’s December release and its May release, and the first teaser was premiered at the Super Bowl on febrhary (3 months early) with a full trailer following in April ( 1.5 months pre-release).
I’d anicipate a first teaser in April, to go in front of Avengers 4.
Disney is being smart and letting Star Wars lay low for awhile. They're still hurting over fan reaction to FA and Solo. Time heals all wounds and they will be back at full force pushing the films. Still waiting for another good Star Wars film after Empire.

And personally, I loved Solo!! I don't get the hate for it, especially considering so few people have actually seen the film.

Sorry I meant LJ, not FA. I don't think Solo generated enough electricity after the disappointment of LJ.
