This goes back probably afore most of FSM Assembled were born, but how many have seen or heard Lalo Schifrin’s

contributions to 1966’s short-lived BLUE LIGHT series with Robert Goulet on ABC

Or his intense score to David Wolper’s 1968 television version of THE RISE AND FALL OF THE THIRD REICH?

Scant chance of either being resurrected and rescued nowadays, no doubt, but we remember their musical effect all too well

Neo, a couple of true keepers from Schifrin's TV days.

BLUE LIGHT was a Fox show so maybe Intrada could consider that one for future release someday.

I did a cleanup on the MGM "dramatic cantata" LP version of RISE a few years back, but I'd be extremely interested to hear the straight documentary score again someday.

I wish they could release BLUE LIGHT on DVD as well as JERICHO, for Pete's sake!
