Just finished watching this film with (no surprise) a sweet Elmer Bernstein's score (and some horrible pop songs!). I assume there's no release of the music out there, but I swear there was a lion's roar after the end credits so could ever there be a chance for releasing that one. The end credits also stated "additional music composed and performed by Tom Scott" but many of the cues sounded clearly as Bernstein to me (does anyone know more details about each composer's share?).
The timeframe fits between Spacehunter and Ghostbusters. A busy period for Elmer.
This was released theatrically in 1983 and received a lot of cable play the following year.I seem to remember it as the movie that put Rob Lowe on the map. I don't recall the score, but I do seem to remember EB as the composer.
