Hey, shit happens and it's not like this is someone's life support machine.

I lost one blog post (Memories of Hanover Street) but I myself don't have a backup so we're going to have to let that one go I'm afraid.

Not to worry.

Cheers

I think I lost a couple of useful posts, as this happened just after I had returned from my trip and tried to get up-to-date on various threads, but no biggie! As long as we're up and running and any previous threads beyond that aren't gone, all's well. Thanks for the effort.

I re-posed my blog entry about Horner's Star Trek III score:

My Mancini Revisited blog has been reposted, although in an earlier draft version: http://filmscoremonthly.com/daily/article.cfm/articleID/6207/Scoreside-Chat--Mancini-Revisited/. Hate to lose the comments though since I thought it created a nice discussion.

I just reposted the Film Score Friday column from March 27th (or at least a version of it, since the final version was only on the Net and that's apparently long gone). I'll re-post This Year's Movies Part One and Two, um, eventually.

The only thing that bothers me about this situation is that it costs Lukas time and energy that he could be devoting to producing more great soundtracks. However, it highlights the sacrifice he's making on our behalf to maintain this excellent gathering place. Three cheers for him!

I just reposted the This Year's Movies, Part One column, in a version slightly altered from the original (since I've actually seen Adventureland and Duplicity since I first posted). I dated it March 27th, which is more or less when it originally appeared.

Now, onto reviving Part Two, and then maybe even some new columns.

Part Two has been restored, more or less, also on March 27th. Now I guess I have to write a new column or something.
