I have a You Tube account. I also have a CD of most of the music, lifted from the film. My understanding is that I have to have at least a still picture posted, and the music will play while the picture is displayed. I don't have the slightest idea how to do this.

While visiting Albert Glasser, the orchestrator and conductor of THE RETURN OF JESSE JAMES, he recorded a tape of some of the music.

First you'll need to make sure you've removed as much dialogue as you can, otherwise you're sure to trip the copyright system quickly.

Do you have Windows? If you do, is there Movie Maker program installed?

One of the best films of Grofe’s music is the short film of GRAND CANYON (1959), from the Disney studio, which applies nature photography applied to Grofe’s famous suite. Released in 70 mm, it originally accompanied the original release of Disney’s animated SLEEPING BEAUTY. Together, the two made a two-hour program for theaters.

Even though the film won an Oscar for Best Short Subject, it pretty much disappeared after its initial release. However, it did end up getting released on DVD as a Bonus on a couple of different SLEEPING BEAUTY video releases.

It’s really beautiful, though it takes a few liberties with Grofe’s intent. The “Donkey Music” accompanies the slow progress of a tarantula, and the “Cloudburst” serves a sudden snowstorm. But they’re beautifully done, and it’s really no accident that the film won that well deserved Oscat.

Justin: There is still a little dialogue. Maybe I'd better not take the chance of posting it due to copyright.
