I actually worked as an Extra on a few episodes back in the 80's in my Hollywood Days. I remember the guys who played the two Simon's were real nice and they had great food at lunch!
Love the catchy Title theme! I remember having an old LP with Police Show and Detective Themes and it was on it.
I thought this was about Simon & Garfunkel. Never heard of the show, I'm afraid.
I know that Swedish television has at one point (albeit long time ago) shown it. So therefore I think that our neighbor in the west has shown it too but I can be wrong.
However I do only remember one episode, the episode where Richard Kiel was a guest on the show. I have a vague memory of some kind of a car chase where he was in one of the cars (a pickup truck) with the two brothers. I would love to rewatch that episode some time in the future.

That's S2's The Skeleton Who Came Out of the Closet. The episode is available to watch free on Hulu via IMdb, though it may be restricted to US-only viewing.
An interesting bit of trivia is that Jeannie Wilson reunited with her two Simon & Simon co-stars three times after departing S&S as a regular: twice in the series: in the S&S season six episode Lost Lady, which I haven't seen yet, the 1995 S&S reunion movie, Simon & Simon: In Trouble Again, and perhaps most interestingly, the 1986 low-budget film Jackals aka American Justice.
Here's the movie's impressive poster:
It'd be easy to imagine that poster hanging on the wall of some video store, circa 1986-87.
Where's the fanbase for this show? A top-five Nielsen-rated detective show that ran for eight seasons on CBS. A program with wit and charisma to spare and yet there's very little evidence that this show ever happened. Is it just because the private eye genre has been "replaced" with the dry, lifeless police/CSI procedural?
