Cool news. I've always wanted this track. I'll have to see if the membership is worth it...

Thanks man! I love the TWIN PEAKS stuff.

I'd love an extended version of the FWWM movie.

Sure hope this is just the first of many unreleased TP tracks. Seems like a smart track to start of with, as its certainly one of the most requested unreleased tracks, and the fact that its a David Lynch track. Can't wait for more.

Thanks for the heads up. More music from Twin Peaks is welcome. I love the Season 1 & 2 releases.

So let's start some healthy speculation on what other tracks might be - or we hope might be - released under the Twin Peaks Archive banner.

Personally, I'm hoping for the slower variation of "Freshly Squeezed" that gets a lot of air time during the season two premiere, most memorably during the scene in the Double R when Madeline crumples her glasses in front of Donna.

There are still a ton of great ones that remain unreleased. The organ version of "Falling" heard in the Norma & MT Wentz scene. The alternate version of "Audrey's Prayer" heard when Audrey says goodbye to Cooper. A longer, full version of "Harold's Theme".

The track that I want most is the one heard when Cooper and Annie dance. The track gets interrupted in the episode, so who knows if there is even a full version of it. Fingers crossed.

BUMP - DavidLynch.com just updated with a track from season 2, the instrumental version of the song "Just You and I."

"Annie and Cooper" has been added, as well as a number of tracks in the last few weeks.

I sort of assumed that once you purchased a track from the Twin Peaks Archive they might send you an e-mail when new material was added. No such luch.

True - I follow @TwinPeaksArchive on Twitter and they always post up the updates fairly quickly. There's also a website with an RSS feed if you regularly use an RSS reader: http://twinpeaksarchive.blogspot.com

Both of these TwinPeaksArchive accounts are great resources which actually predate David Lynch's "Twin Peaks Archive" music, so the samenaming is just circumstance.

Here are the tracks thus far:

Annie and Cooper
Deer Meadow Shuffle bundle (original track and film version)
Freshly Squeezed (Bass Clarinet)
Just You (Instrumental Baritone Guitar)
Mysterioso bundle (Mysterioso #1, Mysterioso #2, Mysterioso #1 Film Version, Mysterioso #2 Film Version)
Nightsea Wind
Twin Peaks Theme (Alternate)
Twin Peaks Theme - Nostalgia bundle (Harp and guitar version, Nostalgia version, Solo rhodes version)

The bundles with over 2 tracks are $1.99, all the rest are $0.99. They've been coming out at approximately one per week, sometimes a little faster.

I just wish they'd do a bundle instead of having to buy these individually.

Or a CD. That would be even better.

I agree, but one thing that's good about this format is that Lynch can release alternate versions of the tracks (the "Mysterio," "Nostalgia," and "Deer Meadow Shuffle" bundles) which would certainly never all be released on the same CD.

You can buy these as a bundle. They keep updating it to include all of the tracks. Being an "open album" there's no way of knowing just how much material will make it out.

And I do believe there is mention on the site of potential CD releases of material, but nothing specific. I'm just happy to finally have Dear Meadow Shuffle. I haven't a clue how that got left off of the FWWM soundtrack.
