To Freejack-i don't know were you serious or not, i know i knew many of my customers bought LP soundtracks because of the covers, for as i am sure most people on this board knows, some of the nicest art work on LP covers have come from the Soundtracks. However there is something very amusing about the idea a thread is started with are any of you deaf?, sought of reminded me of a movie once showing a bunch of blind people sitting down in a moviehouse watching a movie, of course for people like us that might not be as funny as for other people maybe they went to the movie just to listen to the music, which by the way[well you will find out in a few minutes.

No I'm not deaf, but the covers are quite nice sometimes.
Considering how many on this board suffer from tinnitus to one degree or another, I don't find this thread title particularly amusing.
Ditto. It's not a great joke, considering it talks about someone's disability.
Sorry to have to inform you that tinnitus is not a "disability," it's a symptom of a condition that may or may not be brought on by age-related hearing loss, ear injury or a circulatory system disorder. Also, for many people it's actually quite treatable. Moreover, my original post was about those who might already be deaf, not going deaf or have the condition of tinnitus. People definitely jumped to their own negative conclusions on this topic.
In all seriousness, disabled people find amazing ways to indulge in their hobbies despite their limitations. I knew a collector of animated cartoons who was blind. He had an amazing collection and was was very passionate about toons, especially pre-code and now-banned titles.
