Wow! Quick sell out, for a 3500 double disc issue of an old score by JW.
Cool! Of course, now you're obligated to release plenty more John Williams CD's smile
Let's get some TOM SAWYER and STORY OF A WOMAN out there!

Hey, this John Williams character seems kind of popular if this swift sell-out is anything to go by! I wonder if it's likely anything else might be coming from him in the near future?

Fortunately I had enough cash to get mine (from SAE) a couple of weeks ago, came though from across the pond in the post today (with The Black Hole) but haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. I'm looking forward to it though, had been on my watch list for years and when it was first announced I did think that 3500 seemed to be a bit low for such an iconic-era Williams soundtrack. But glad to hear that LLL will have/have had a sell out on it.

So you're that helpful person! wink You wouldn't by any chance have
more hi-res scans of the many Babylon 5 episodic CDs (all I have
are 180x180)?

Sorry for derailing this thread for a moment... Well done, Lalaland!
I hope you're feeding them monkeys handsomely enough? smile What
was Williams' reaction?

I haven't done the other B5 episodic covers. They are a bit of a pain. I also don't have the reissue of the first series of B5 episodic cd's with the better artwork (Severed Dreams, etc). I have the first run with the crappy artwork.

There are so many other covers to do that I just haven't bothered. I was hoping someone here would make custom covers. I've even pondered doing that myself since making custom covers would be much easier than restoring the originals.

/end thread derailing

I always appreciate your scans on Album Art Exchange. Thanks Scott.

And well done La La, I love my 1941 copy.

Yes LaLaLand, please consider restoring Williams's Dracula if the title is up for grabs.

1941 is a surprisingly good listen when driving around Los Angeles, particularly when getting on the 405 at Wilshire.

I really thought I was going to have plenty of time with this one at 3500 copies. I was wrong. I missed it at La La Land, but SAE had one for me. Whew!
