But I also want to shout out to all these European folks - it works two ways - it's a two-way street. So, if some US label felt like releasing an album of classic neo-realism film scores from the late 40s and 1950s, they'd be perfectly fine to do it. Oh, well. And if another label wanted to release the score to Shoot the Piano Player, Jules and Jim and The 400 Blows they'd be perfectly fine. Or some fun English soundtracks from the late 50s and first two years of the 60s. Hmmm. Sounds good to me. Have to go rummage through my tapes and see what's out there.
