THE POWER is the one that takes me by surprise. The picture doesn't have a romantic theme of the sort that the record industry liked to exploit. The main theme would be too difficult for most amateur pianists. So I wonder about the musical content of this folio.
Fascinating material here. I was unaware of a piano reduction of the waltz from MADAME BOVARY. And THE POWER! That comes as a real surprise, since the picture got only a half-hearted release in 1968, double-featured with some Raquel Welch flick. Is this the main theme? One could imagine a player climbing atop the piano to hammer out the music on the wires!
