Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

ADORE

Music Composed by
Christopher Gordon
(Master And Commander, On The Beach)

Naomi Watts and Robin Wright deliver riveting performances in Adore, a sensual and provocative drama about two lifelong friends who find unexpected happiness in relationships that cross the bounds of convention. An unpredictable tale of misguided love and a heartfelt celebration of the enduring nature of female friendship, Adore is the English-speaking directorial debut of Anne Fontaine. Set in an Australian seaside town, Adore establishes an aura of fable as it follows two women's plunge into uncharted waters. Adore radiates with intoxicating sensuality while exploring the intricacies of love, family, morality and passion.

The exquisitely beautiful score for Adore is by the brilliant Australian composer Christopher Gordon, perhaps most known for his scores for Master And Commander as well as the Hallmark productions of Moby Dick and On The Beach. Every new score by this composer is a very special treat and Adore is not to be missed!

Exclusive Media opens ADORE?in limited release on September 6.

Hell yea!

I LOVE Moby Dick and regard On the Beach as one of the best scores, well, ever.

So glad he's getting more work. Can't wait to hear this!

Yes, On the Beach is incredible and one of the greatest scores ever written by anyone. Moby Dick and other Gordon works are awesome but not quite on that level.

I know this is a serious art film from a French director, and I know I'm supposed to be all grown up and mature, but when I hear about a movie about two women sleeping with each other's sons, I can't help but think it's the feature version of this:

From the Blu-ray.com review of the film: "Perfect Mothers is complimented by a wonderfully relaxing soundtrack courtesy of Christopher Gordon . . . It is Christopher Gordon's beautiful music score, however, that makes viewing Perfect Mothers a very special experience."

Funny what a little marketing can do.

"Perfect Mothers" = Lifetime Movie of the Week

"Adore" = Oscar bait

You can just download the whole damned thing from ITUNES right now.

Really nice score by Gordon, the other person seems to have been given very different directions and it doesn't quite mesh, but that why god invented ITUNES to you can easily shuffle things around to correct this sort of thing.
