Now we have Balfe, Junkie XS and other RCP crap, and kids they like it.

Which is super interesting considering the sheer number of people over 40 at the Hans Zimmer concerts........................................

Kids like this stuff? I don't imagine a lot of twelve year olds spending their allowance on Junkie music but I could be wrong (considering I spent my allowance on Elfman when I was 12). I think it's more likely that RCP is reliable and not afraid to do the same damn thing over and over ad nauseum and that's what the studio heads like.

I feel dumb asking this, but who is RCP?

Lots off! Therefore I wouldn’t call it ‘underrated’.

Doubt if this is underrated, but I rarely see it discussed.

A League Of Their Own has such a different sound from some of Zimmer's other scores. It is a period peace and really captures that historical era.

Man Of Steel is one of Zimmers best works and very underrated.I guess it was inevitable it would get hated on because Zimmer dared to do something different than Williams did.

I wish Zimmer would have returned for Justice League.

Love the score as well. I asked MV about this title and he said he would be interested in releasing it. Hopefully someone is working on this.

Frost/Nixon is over looked unlike larger action scores.

Listening to FN it sounds more refined & tranquil dominated by cello, piano & percussive instruments adding to the sense of rhythm & melody.

Cues, Insanely Riisky & Research Montage are particularly note worthy pieces & contain some of the best orchestration of the Main theme Water Gate which is also a nice piece.

Ditto, the Lone Ranger was another splendid effort.
