Looking toward the holidays, I sincerely hope that someone will be releasing Alan Silvestri's wonderful complete scores to "The Polar Express" and "A Christmas Carol"
Also: Kostal's "Mickey's Christmas Carol" and the score for the original version of Burton's "Frankenweenie"
Was hoping for Christmas Carol last year. When it didn't arrive I brought the lossless download from Qobuz. Will only upgrade if it comes to CD if there is a significant difference.
Polar express is a definite purchase though if it ever gets released.
Same here. I was hoping last year they would announce around November that a complete Christmas Carol score was on its way. No such luck. I don't want to have to download it but if they can't get off their rear and give the people what they want then I might just go ahead and download it and skip it when they EVENTUALLY DECIDE to release it on cd.
