I'm glad I held off on the download. Looking forward to picking up the CD.

Finally received the CD. Alas, no autographed copy. Ah well, my signed copies of the Vol. 1 & 2 LLL boxsets will have to hold me over 
The Dominik Hauser rerecordings are interesting, fun recreations of the originals (even if he goes a bit overboard with added chimes and melodramatic cymbal flourishes that are not present in the original compositions) -- the version of "Scully's Serenade" is, uh, not so much. And while the original orchestral recordings of the film scores are, of course, untouchable with a synth arrangement, his rendering of "Trip to DC" is pretty damn convincing -- synths are definitely coming along very quickly these days.
The sort of western guitar version of theme is quite cool, too.

FYI, the arrangement of "Scully's Serenade" was done by Joohyun Park and the vocal was by Katie Campbell.
My Business partner Mark Baning and myself asked Ms. Park to do a more 21st Century version of the tune, not just recreate it, but do a different take on it.
If you like it, give Ms. Park and Ms. CAmpbell all the credit, if you don't you can take it up with Mr. Banning and Myself since we approved it.
