Yeah, me too - I swear I've checked the BSX site since then and just now saw it. Must have overlooked it!

Anyone know the order number range for autographed copies? Or are they already gone?

it's been available as a DIGITAL RELEASE since last month.

It's only now that we're making it available as CD release.

I should mention that it's available at our website as both a Mp3 and WAVE (Lossless) download with a PDF of the booklet as well.

Finally received the CD. Alas, no autographed copy. Ah well, my signed copies of the Vol. 1 & 2 LLL boxsets will have to hold me over wink

The Dominik Hauser rerecordings are interesting, fun recreations of the originals (even if he goes a bit overboard with added chimes and melodramatic cymbal flourishes that are not present in the original compositions) -- the version of "Scully's Serenade" is, uh, not so much. And while the original orchestral recordings of the film scores are, of course, untouchable with a synth arrangement, his rendering of "Trip to DC" is pretty damn convincing -- synths are definitely coming along very quickly these days.

The sort of western guitar version of theme is quite cool, too.

FYI, the arrangement of "Scully's Serenade" was done by Joohyun Park and the vocal was by Katie Campbell.

My Business partner Mark Baning and myself asked Ms. Park to do a more 21st Century version of the tune, not just recreate it, but do a different take on it.

If you like it, give Ms. Park and Ms. CAmpbell all the credit, if you don't you can take it up with Mr. Banning and Myself since we approved it.

Ford, I was wondering, could you perhaps give some back info on the "guitar demo" of the X-Files theme on this CD?
It says arranged and produced by Mark Snow - is it something he did himself way back in 1993? Or is it a new performance of an arrangement he did? Who did the performance? etc.
Many thanks in advance!

I haven't listened all the way through yet, but it looks like this is a splendid release for someone who wants a taste of The X-Files without wanting to spend the cash on the LLL sets. It's very good to have the split-up suite from The Snow Files, which had already been turned into a download, finally on CD.
The recreations of the series music sound very good too; the only piece of criticism I'd have is that this was a golden opportunity to recreate some unreleased music from the show - but I actually presume that was contractually forbidden.
