The alternates for "Snow Business" and "Elektra's Theme" must just be small variations in performances or in the sound mixing because I can't really pinpoint the differences--at least not while casually listening to them. So they aren't major deviations or completely different musical ideas.
"Pipeline" (full mix)--same thing. No huge differences jumped out at me.
'Alternates' are almost never worth including. I never listen unless it's something like the superior version of ".Moon Buggy Ride," from DAD
Can anyone, who GOT this one, share their order numbers (and note - if they ordered only this title, or with some older LLL titles)? Already week from "Awaiting shipping"! I know that Potter is most important, but...

ps order 168558, if anyone interested...
I ordered THE WORLD IS NOT ENOUGH 2CD LLL, DIE ANOTHER DAY 2CD and Potter boxset - all in one order. My order number is #167390 and I still waiting for shipment. My order status is still the same from 1st December - "Awaiting Shipment"
Sounds like I may encourage a little rage from you good folks here but I already received this. The only problem? I didn’t order it. I ordered SCHINDLER’S LIST and they sent this instead. Second time in a row that this has happened with La La Land (last month, they sent me the E.T. vinyl when I ordered the SAVING PRIVATE RYAN CD; I think they broke into the authentic eggnog a little early!). Waah-waah.
This is a fantastic set. For all the discussion that went on about crossfading/joining tracks, it is minimal and does not impact any of the major cues.
There are short silences between many of the joined cues meaning you can separate them with relative ease if you wish. The only tracks that present a bit of a challenge (no silence) are Elektra Turns/Renard’s Plutonium Gift and Submarine Surfaces/Renard Greets Nik/M Clocks Locator. Submarine Surfaces does have a gap after it, and that's the best bit of the track.
I put my definitive album together with relative ease, so I'm very happy.
Question for Neil - assuming Tomorrow Never Dies is possibly the last opportunity to print a significant amount of unreleased Arnold Bond music, could you give us more of the "separate elements/orchestra only" tracks? They are fascinating to hear, and I was disappointed the DAD release did not include those for Gustav Graves’ Grand Entrance and Ice Palace Car Chase (effectively, the film versions). If there's ever an opportunity to release those too, even better.

We only had full mixes on those two cues, no separate sections.

Are Those joined cues that are hard to separate like this in the film
Thanks for the clarification, Neil. That's a shame.
Marcato, other than the two boat chase cues (and arguably Balloon and the title song), none of them are joined in the film. With editing, the best listening experience I've found is:
01. Gun Barrel - separate this from Bond Has Left The Building 02. Bond Has Left The Building - separate this from Gun Barrel 03. Show Me The Money / Come In 007, Your Time Is Up - join both together when ripping the CD 04. Balloon 05. The World Is Not Enough 06. Dr. Warmflash 07. Access Denied 08. M’s Confession 09. Welcome To Baku - take your pick of either film or album version based on whether you like the vocals 10. Snow Business - film version on disc 1 11. Ice Bandits 12. Out Of The Snow - cut and discard Stay With Me Please 13. Card Game 14. Casino 15. Devil’s Breath 16. Elektra’s Theme - disc 1 album version 17. Body Double 18. Welcome To Kazakhstan - cut off the unused woodwind opening 19. Going Down / The Bunker - use the original album version on disc 2 but splice the Bond theme insert toward the end from the extended version on disc 1 20. Pipeline (Full Mix) - not entirely sure what the difference is between this and the album version, but the orchestra sounds slightly more pronounced 21. Remember Pleasure - disc 2 album version 22. Caviar Factory (Extended) 23. Submarine Surfaces - cut off and discard Renard Greets Nik / M Clocks Locator 24. Bomb 25. Torture Queen 26. I Never Miss 27. Submarine - disc 2 album version 28. Sub Gets It 29. Christmas In Turkey 30. Orbis Non Sufficit - rip this from the DVD or blu-ray to have the (in my opinion) superior film version

Oh, for SURE I have always wanted to hear just the orchestra on "Back Seat Driver." Tomorrow Never Dies is just the fucking best.
