"Woman... Friend... Wife..."
The Bride Of Frankenstein (The 1935 Original Soundtrack Recording) - Franz Waxman

Although this classic monster movie, which paved the way for film scoring, was released in US theaters May 6. It had a limited release in theaters 85 years ago today.

Finally received this yesterday along the Waxman two-fer and Jonny Quest and am giving this a spin now. So far, it’s remarkable how good this material sounds.

Six Degrees of Separation by Jerry Goldsmith

Eric Thal was so hot!

And … LOL ! Ouisa: "I'm worried. Is it right to make a movie of Cats?"

Six Degrees of Separation by Jerry Goldsmith

@ Mr. SpinMeister: One of my favorite Jerry's from the nineties. Genius idea to use a tango-like main theme.

Re-watching the films and re-listening to the scores. Man, what a beautiful love theme Williams wrote. I think it would get more attention if it weren't attached to a mediocre film and mediocre acting...

Agreed Mr. Replicant006 ! And sand is coarse.

I'm a sucker for that "Egyptian" sound, and this is a beaut.

Fierce Creatures...

Fun, lively score from Goldsmith. His bigger scores get all of the attention but this is worth multiple listens. In fact, I'll do that just now.
