Vol 2 of Batman is worth it just for Beware the Gray Ghost.

If you want to release more great Carl Johnson I recommend GARGOYLES. But, it's Disney... hey Intrada

Well, well, well. Looks like I'll be able to snag Volume 2 of B:TAS on the 19th after all.

Has a full track list been revealed yet? I saw LLL posted one on Facebook that I think was only Disc 1, or 1 and 2.

EDIT: Never mind. Just saw it was for all four discs, but just the episodes represented. Can't wait to get the music for especially "Beware the Gray Ghost," "Heart of Ice," "Read My Lips," and two-parters "The Demon's Quest" and "Shadow of the Bat."

My guess is that it will be in a clamshell, since MV mentioned plans for a possible box that would hold vols 1, 2, and 3.

That's correct, MV mentioned earlier in this thread that next year when Volume 3 is released then he might have a box created that would hold all three BTAS volumes, which could be purchased separately or with the newest volume for $5. Obviously this is all tentative, who knows what might change between then and now, but admittedly it's a neat idea that appeals to the "collector mentality".

How can you expect any of us to have facts when none of us works for La-La Land? All we know are whatever Michael and Matt report here on the board, which even from them sometimes the news is guesswork.

Pay no attention to him. I mean after all what can you expect from a teenage boy.

From the 'All News LLL' thread (posted by Giacchino-fan on 16 April 2012):

"An update from MV:

Now that we are well into April of 2012 some things have changed and/or have been added to our release slate.

Box sets:

We do plan on having at least 2 more "box-sets" coming out this year (ala Friday the 13th and Medal of Honor). Two other 4 disc sets originally planned to be housed in "boxes" will no longer be housed in said boxes. FSM's recent Ben Hur looks great without one and so will these releases. We feel a "box set" should consist of more than just 4 cds. It should be something special -- an event release -- and when we have a concrete idea as to when these sets will be coming out we will let you know far in advance like we did with Friday the 13th. They will be pricey, so you should be able to get a heads up on saving your bucks.

(PLEASE NOTE: This new 4 disc set policy does not apply to our upcoming X Files Volume 2. It will match Volume 1. As to when...well, the truth is out there)"

Oh... a Lethal Weapon box set would be just lovely. I can just hear the music played during the Jet Li/Danny Glover/Mel Gibson fight in my head (let's make it reality in a marvelous multi-disc box set).

I have not read all the posts, but I can not make it to Comic Con. I have wanted an expanded Phantom score by David Newman since it was released. LALA Land, when are the internet sales for this title going to start ???

It's a shame the re-pressing of Batman: Animated Series V1 omits the suite and Shirley Walker interview. They'll still be up on YT, but if I had missed out on the original pressing, I'd be really ticked that two BIG highlights of the set were omitted solely to make it more collectible.

But if this means eventual releases of New Batman/Superman Adventures and Superman: The Animated Series are in the pipeline for next year and beyond... it's a good sign.

MV, when and if you get to S:tAS -- please find a way to get "Unity", "World's Finest", "Superman's Pal" and "In Brightest Day..." as part of V1.

Anybody know what the regular prices for these will be on their site? I know the prices won't be the same as the ones sold at Comic Con.

MV indicated that B:TAS Vol 2 will be $59.97 instead of the $60 at ComicCon - they probably rounded to the nearest dollar for ComicCon sales so they didn't have to carry around a bunch of pennies.

Will BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES: VOL 1 (2nd Ed) cover be different from the first edition?
Any preview somewhere?
