What's on IMDb reflects my efforts going through the end credits of each episode to complete the composer credits there.

The old GNP release contained only Davis' work for the new series; it contained Schifrin's work for the old series and some concert performances.

I've yet to sample either composer's work aside from some brief stuff here and there, but I did, unfortunately, have the old GNP CD and that terrible synth work form Davis ... glad he was passed up for this new release. A night and day difference to, for example, that nice score he did for an episode of "MacGyver".

Agreed that the synth stuff by Davis on the GNP CD is pretty awful. I'm totally unfamiliar with the '80s series but LOVE the scores to the '60s series. For those more familiar with the '80s show: how are Schifrin and Jones' scores? Are they all synth-based like Davis' scores?

Chris.

Much as Ron Jones demonstrated that he was a master of synths on Star Trek TNG, I do hope that, like his scores for that show, the synths might be integrated with orchestral stuff for his Mission: Impossible work...

I've seen the series long years ago and I don't remember orchestral scores, only synth. I can be wrong though. Looking forward hearing the clips for this.

Even Schifrin got no acoustic instruments on this, as far as you remember?

Hell YES! Thanks MV! Can you confirm whether IMDb/the episode credits are correct about Schifrin doing 3 original scores and Ron shines doing 6?

I received my first batch from the LLL sales today which was Home Alone, Home Alone 2, Kick-Ass 2, Unstoppable and Family Guy.

I really really want to listen to the Home Alone CDs cause they look so pretty and I know the music is sooo good. but, uhm...is it crazy to listen to that music now in the middle of summer?? lol!

I've made non holiday playlists for both Home Alone scores leaving out the traditional Xmas music.

MV, short of stating wait and see, is August and September still to be confirmed?

It's kinda funny...we have too many titles approved at this time so August is definitely locked and Sept is pretty much there as well. Some shifting is occurring as to not have too many releases in one month. We'll have an August flyer for sure on Aug 1.

August 3 - according to Amazon will be a 2CD release of Mission Impossible Fallout

I imagine we will see something else from the Universal line.

I have a feeling the Friday the 13th video game may be there, or closer to Halloween.

Not sure where on the rumor scale it was but hope MI2 finds its way on it.
