Yep, I ordered all 1500 copies. Then asked Varese change it to 1490 so a lucky 10 people here could get a copy. That's why the site toggled between in-stock and sold out.

Whoa I just read about the cues from the rejected score. Very interesting. Can’t wait to check this out. And they’re not using Naxos anymore? Does that mean these won’t be shipped in a single piece of cardboard???
I had this score on cassette, then bought the CD on eBay for $300. Also got it in the varese box. This will be the cherry on top.

300?! Jeez dude.
I remember wanting this so bad when it came out, but it qualified as exotic where I lived - never to be stocked, and mail ordering was too expensive, I had neither the pocket money nor the where-with-all. Had to be content with staring at the name of it in vendor lists at the back of film magazines. I remember doing that a lot.
I'm very excited about this release! One of my favorite Fiedel themes. Certainly didn't expect an expansion!
I seem to recall Charles Bernstein (coming off of Craven's Elm St and Deadly Friend) was connected to this film at one point. I wonder how much was written.
Very cool that Varese included Michael Babatunde Olatunji's score too.

Yeah that’s the most I’ve ever spent on a CD. But I had just sold a factory sealed copy of Runaway (early 2000’s) for $300 so I just used that.

At least you came out even. The poor slob that bought Runaway must have been apoplectic when it was expanded and re-released (twice).
