Nobody ever mentions Thelma & Louise

I still think it's his best, after all these years. That finale is one of the great film music cues of all time.

I listened to the first PIRATES score on Spotify a couple weeks ago and was shocked by how small and almost cheap it sounded in retrospect... And rumors aside as to who really wrote it, since Badelt is credited for the first PIRATES, you couldn't really put it on a list of Zimmer's best.

I haven't heard the first one in a while so I'd be curious to listen again and see how it sounds. I assume it's the samples and programming that are going to sound very synthy and Media Ventures-ish.

As far as the crediting goes, I think ALL of the PIRATES movie scores were co-composing setups? So in general that's a franchise that is hard to pin down credit for.

I'm surprised that I never really see The Da Vinci Code on any of these lists. For those of us that enjoy a lot of Zimmer's work, what are your thoughts on this score?

I wanted to like it. I really tried one day, but I felt more I was listening to some opera and chanting.
I was barely able to listen through the whole CD...

"Chevaliers de Sangreal" is AMAZING though!

I much prefer Angels & Demons and Inferno (yes, I think its awesome!). Love the love theme he made for these two (which sounds very much like the Buffy/Angel love theme, lol)

INCEPTION
INTERSTELLAR

Any list like this that includes Dunkirk has to be spam. I mean, isn’t there a rule against sharing that kind of thing?

Pacific Heights
Sherlock Holmes
The Lion King
Matchstick Men
Radio Flyer
Wonder Woman 1984
Crimson Tide
Backdraft
Inception

Yeah, this works much better.

I used to enjoy Hans Zimmer. But now I can’t listen to any of his music. The one that I did enjoy was Lone Ranger. I guess because it was that spaghetti western sound.
