Good point Giacchino-fan.

I'm waiting to see when the next "Qualitity Alert" comes down the pipe from Varese.

Just ask someone to pick it up for ya now and buy it back/trade for it later. Heck, I might even be able to help, regardless of my situation. If you had a good trade, I'd definitely consider it.

E-Mail me at monty39@verizon.net and we'll discuss it. smile

So Vulcans, inhabitants of a planet of different mass than earth, and of a different distance from their sun to our sun........... go through a mating cycle that lines up exactly with 7 rotations of our Earth around our Sun?

Way to go, writers.

I think an explanation I've always seen is that the universal translator will translate time as well. So 'seven years' may be equivilent to 'eight and a half' or whatever or for Vulcans.

Interesting to see it sell so well (I bought it too!). But: it's by far not the best Star Trek movie score...

Who said it was *our* sun? And why would you assume that given the show has always gone by its own stardate dating system? Wouldn't it be seven years by *that* calendar?

No, but you have quite a few things in its favor. 1. Its Star Trek 2. score collectors probably want complete versions of all Trek scores 3. if Trek 2 and 3 wernt unlimited then they would be long gone as well by now 4. Its Michael Giacchino who is VERY popular right now due to Up and Lost 5. Its very good smile

Yes, I think we can all agree that it would have been much less silly if Spock went through his mating cycle every seven feldnargs.

If you guys wanna discuss discontinuity, that's OK.

But THIS thread is about the impending sell-out. Just tryin' to get it back on topic. Thanks.

Yes, please, make sure we don't miss "less than 392 remaining!"

It would actually be an improvement if I got laid every seven feldnargs.

Everyone, everyone, gather round, listen up!!! Hudson, come here. Come here.

I think we should be compensating Mr. Rutherford for his hard work in this thread. No one else assumed the responsibility, but you know what? He stepped up!

Glad to see this did well and now I have something to look forward to when I head back to NY today as apparently my signed copy has arrived!

Gee, this one turned out to be a real good business choice by Varese didn't it?

"If your on the fence like I was let me push you over. Get this before it becomes a King's ransom!!

Scott out."

Got it based on your opinion today and you're 100% correct. Unique packaging a real plus.

I realize it hasn't sold out quite yet, but this eBay seller recently found that the title was not only NOT worth a king's ransom, but nobody was interested even at $12 below retail...

The expense will come after it has been sold out for a short while, and the score becomes unobtainable.
