Am I glad to have my copy? Sure. But don't buy it because you think scalpers will soon be making a fortune.

It was supposed to be about the music, man.

Thank you. I just happened to be at the right place at the right time when Chris Tilton came on the board and posted that the first five people to email him would get one. I was beginning to get nervous after all this time and watching the numbers dwindle on the set. But alas good things sometimes truly DO come to those who wait. I was in Chicago for two weeks and my girlfriend texted me back in NY telling me I had a box there. I asked who the return addy was and she said "Giacchino". I could not WAIT to get back to NY! Very cool of him to personalize too. Not only is Giacchino a great composer, but a hell of a guy too.

"If your on the fence like I was let me push you over. Get this before it becomes a King's ransom!!

Scott out."

Got it based on your opinion today and you're 100% correct. Unique packaging a real plus.

I'm so glad you like it! You got it fast! It took about a month for me to get mine! I'm really happy with my purchase. A fun score and a worthy addition to the Star Trek cannon.

FEWER THAN 100 COPIES REMAINING!

Most likely, after this alert, it will be sold out in a few hours like the Goonies.

Well my original thinking that this would sell out by the end of June didn't pan out quite right. However, with it nearly selling out by now is still pretty impressive.

Should I, Shouldn't I, Should I, Shouldn't I, Should I, Shouldn't I, Should I, Shouldn't I, Should I, Shouldn't I, Should I, Shouldn't I, Should I, Shouldn't I, Should I, Shouldn't I, Should I, Shouldn't I.......

......I hate it when there is only one title that I want to buy......

......I can't decide if I want it or not?

.......I am sure it is selling out fast as I decide.........

THX:

Get it. Right NOW!!!!!!!!!!

You can always sell or trade it if you don't like it, but if you don't get it you'll always be questioning your decision, and may end up paying a lot more to acquire it later on. You've nothing to lose, and two discs' worth of great music to gain. It's what's called a "no-brainer."

Thank you again.

I was kinda hoping to pick this up at Comic-Con. Anybody know who might be selling it at the show?

My guess is nobody. Last year, the only two booths I saw offering soundtrack CDs for sale were the ones run by SAE and Charles Band. SAE isn't going to be there this year, Charles Band only sells Full Moon-related stuff, and I presume LLL will be selling only LLL titles at their booth.

Thanks, Josh. I figured as much. Guess I'll just be giving my money to La La Land this weekend.

It's now sold out at Varèse. It's still available at SAE, Intrada and Movie Music. Those of you who've been contemplating about getting it, get it now at the other out lets before they run out stock too.

While the set is not perfect it's still cool to have.

Personally I think this release does pad out some of the ideas hinted in the original release, and even provides SOME additional noteworthy music. But I still can't recommend it to everyone. I just don't see this as a AAA score, I'd say if you are still are on the fence about getting it, don't let anyone pressure you! Its nice to have but its not a must have. The original is still a great presentations of Giacchino's ideas and very listenable.
