All this time, I kept hoping that at least one track on one disc in this four-volume series would have been music from the episode Fred Astaire did to please his grandkids -- but I guess that was too much to hope for. O well.
So far as I know, all of the music from that episode ("The Man With Nine Lives") was tracked. Any episode of the original series that received original music is present on Intrada's four volumes.
I do remember liking that episode, though. I'd have enjoyed a follow-up, had the series not been cancelled.

Wedge is correct, "The Man With Nine Lives" had no original music composed for it, all cues were tracked from other episodes. Does anyone really think that Doug would go through all of this effort and miss one episode with an original score composed for it?
Ordered! What a pleasure, to complete this set. Hard to believe it's been only 17 months since Volume 1 came out. There were times when it seemed like forever. But here we are.
"Fourth and final volume..." - ordered!!! Hopefully we can get some Buck Rogers next! Totally agree but I am sad this is the final one. I was wishing with all my musical soul that there would be a full release of "Galactica 1980" (my most favourite of the series; I ignore the new one completely) music. I want the track for the flying bikes taking off.
Keeping my fingers crossed that Intrada will show some love for the Buck Rogers scores next - a four volume set of those would be a dream come true, especially a complete edition of the pilot/film.
So glad this is complete at last! The "re-recordings" for the "Mission: Galactica" re-edit I was not aware of and is a nice bonus surprise. The announcement doesn't explain the G80 rerecordings though, which I presume means rerecordings of familiar Galactica cues that were used?
No reason to keep that old four CD set after this!
Removing duplicate post. I'll instead say its great this is finished before the Trek release date so that way the year will end with both of these series taken care of!
That looks like a stunning release - amazing cover! (I was actually hoping it would be something like that, meaning a cover based on the epiosdes presented on this set instead of the more general approach for Vol.3 - and the result is outstanding - can't wait to have it in my hands (and my CD player...))
Like Disco Stu however I would have loved something more from Galactica 1980 like the aforementioned "Bikes takes off"-music. There are also some other tracks in that series I really like a whole lot but judging from the track titles and samples nothing from it is there...
Still glad to have the original series' music completed, though!

A lot has been said of this tremendous cover. It is not only beautiful, but refreshingly original - notice that none of the obvious characters like Apollo, Starbuck, or Adama appear. Intrada should sell prints of this.

Where's the music for Cain's confrontation with Baltar's base ships at the end of "Living Legend Part 2"? None of the last few cue titles sound appropriate.

i second that !
maybe Mr. Phillips can bring some light to us
Mr. Phillips, Stu Phillips, to be precise, really can't shed any light on the BR situation... except to say that there are positive vibes (not the instrument), that something is "blowin' in the wind."
