BASEBALL This was a real labor of love. Everything in the borders - roughly 1/3" on the left and 2/3" on the right - is completely reconstructed or recreated. The fisheye perspective was a total bitch to match, and it took lots and lots and lots and lots of cutting, pasting, healing, cloning, patching, painting, faking...I've done it all. Plus, the title font is also manufactured from scratch in Font Creator and augmented with text effects to match the official ad campaign. There was so much work involved, Yavar Moradi suggested I share a before-and-after. The image below is at some point from my original attempt from a couple of years ago, which eventually got so aggravating that I threw in the towel. With a little prodding from Yavar, I picked it up again in the past few weeks and worked on it in my spare time. Suddenly it clicked, and started to come together. You can see the original dimensions of the poster, and compare that to what I finally came up with. Quartet provided two covers fitting COMMANDOS and LA CONGIURA DEI DIECI and I would like to have similarly styled covers for DONNE SENZA PARADISO respectively I LANCIERI NERI. Meaning keeping the basic Quartet layout with the title(s)/colours and pasting art from the movie - at least that's what I'm thinking... Sadly my "Photoshop skills" are not sufficient.
