Best RGW score to date and best DC score since Nolan's departure, probably.

The Crown is the best score RGW has written thus far in my opinion. In terms of the DCEU, I'd rank this score below Justice League (1) and Suicide Squad (2)

The synths really make it sound like a "low budget" score. It's a bit sterile. Could've been epic with a full orchestra.

They spent $200 million to make a cheesy cornball movie Solium, so hence the synth

To be honest once I heard the complete score (and whittled it down) I'm enjoying it on its own merits. Synth cheesiness and all. I don't expect the film will win me over however.

Damn.
Wish I'd gone to see SpiderVerse instead!! frown
I haven't seen anything this badly cheesy since the 80's Flash Gordon.
That Black Panth...errr Manta bad guy was a hoot. His costume looked like something from Rent-A-Ghost!
And it's Loooooong! A few days, I think.
The best thing about it was the music. Some nice Vangelis/Jean Michel Jarre riffs sticking out.

The score in the movie (IMAX) is a mind-blowing experience. What a great and powerful music by RGW !
Album release is a far worse, and contains only ~ 60-70% of music with the unchronological track listing.
The title song by Grey is absolutely beautiful, a far better song than Dion's Deadpool 2.

• security sticker on case
• death-grip hub

Yeah I like this art, though its nearly impossible to crop into a square without cutting off heads. Interested to see if someones successfully done that.

apologies for the poor quality of the pics.
Original artwork looks to have been created for multiple ratio/purposes with the one sheet and cover orientation cropping the sides. Also for the CD, individual elements within were resized for that ratio.

I ripped it into iTunes using Apple lossless got a file size of 357mb. TBH though, not hearing a difference between the rip and the mp3 samples on Amazon.

Sure hope that CD cover makes its way onto the web.

So...we saw it last night, and even though I had my misgivings, I have to say it was REALLY fun...and the music was kind of a big part of that. I wasn't sure about the 80's synth-iness originally, but when you get the big, insane Atlantis fly-thru (ok, swim-thru) with the huge orchestra and synths...it's like getting transported to an 80's spectacle...just with better effects. The movie leans into its silliness and it just, honestly, fun. So many shades of Tron Legacy...which I also ended up enjoying, just for the sheer beauty and spectacle of it all.
