I thought it was John Morris who did THE PRODUCERS? Perhaps Brooks did the songs, I don't know. There was a 2005 version he did the songs & music can't see anyone else credited just him & Frankenstein. Was it DOCTOR Frankenstein who co-wrote that, or the monster himself? By the way, I was listening to the Quinn Martin TV release, Vol. 1, and checked how many of those guys are still alive. To my surprise (if The Computer knows all), they all are, except Jerry Goldsmith and Nelson Riddle. Duane Tatro was 92 a week ago, and John Parker is 92 or 93. I don't know if they're "film-musicky" enough for the list, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

I've noticed the US contemporary composer Ned Rorem is still alive at 95, but I don't know if he's still active, or if he's ever scored any movies to qualify for this list. Does anyone know? As far as I know, Thor, Ned Rorem wrote only once for film and his score went unused: https://www.filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=115730&forumID=1&archive=0 Kritzerland issued THE PANIC IN NEEDLE PARK several years ago.

Can the OT be changed to " Film Composers over 85 WHOSE NAMES WE CAN PRONOUNCE..." Now, now, Bruce. You need only to learn Polish, Czech, German, Hungarian, Lithuanian and Finnish in order to easily pronounce those names. I'm certain you will be speaking those languages in short order! ; ) Jay I speak Yiddish!
