That track list has me concerned. I don't see anything that is going to cover the end credits.

Of course not. I guess it's a rap song on the end credits.

You'd guess wrong. The end credits is wall-to-wall Balfe's arrangement of Mancina's score.

Yeah, it's a great track and a great close to the score, a shame is not contained on this release, but like ClaytonMG says, it's better than nothing

Per Lorne Balfe’s Twitter, the end credits will be included on the album. I would assume it’s actually the first track on the album, titled Bad Boys for Life

I don't know. That first track is pretty short to cover the credits. I didn't time them, so, maybe, but that would be some old-school credits length. Unless it's broken up... I know there was a break for a mid-credits scene.

Given it's length, I originally assumed the best shot was "We Ride Together, We Die Together", but I am betting that is the final action sequence. I guess we'll find out soon enough - at one point, I did think the track list was in order, but looking at it again I think that's less likely.

If Balfe says it's there, that's good news.

Ok, I stand corrected.

I kind of figured this might happen or a CD-R release. I guess it's better than nothing...

Amen to that! I watched the movie yestarday and the music was ok, the use of Mancina's material was well applied in my opinion.

I want to know why they didn't bring Mark Mancina back for the second move. His score for Bad Boys is one of my all time favorites. I'm not saying it being my favorite is a reason to bring him back mind you lol. I'm just saying he knocked it out of the park. The Bad Boys II score didn't do as much for me.

The score for this movie by Lorne Bafle I was really digging.

They did bring Mancina back for the 2nd one. His name is even in 2 of the trailers. If I remember right, when he was writing the music he said there was so much action music that he asked Trevor Rabin to help out. Unfortunately, some stuff happened behind the scenes (like, again, if I remember right, telling Mancina not to use any of his themes and that Dr. Dre will be an additional "composer") so Mancina left while Rabin stayed on and wrote the score with a bunch of other people due to the massive time crunch after Mancina's departure.

I still like the 2nd score, but for different reasons than the first.

I wasn't a fan for the Rabin's score, is one of the worst scores i have heard from him.

Counting the days for this one.

The liner notes for the "Bad Boys" score have Mancina stating that Bay didn't like what he was doing and they parted ways. Mancina sounded like he wanted to honor the original score and Bay was looking for "bland" action music. For some insane reason, it doesn't sound like Bay wanted anything like the score for the original and Mancina couldn't get on board (rightly so).

I know I never considered it a possibility back then. When the Columbia logo came up and I didn't hear the score, I was gutted. Then the opening credits came up and let's just say Bad Boys II and I did not get off to a good start.

Somehow I forgot this was all talked about in the liner notes of the Bad Boys release. My apologies everyone.

I don’t understand Michael Bay’s thought processes concerning his musical decisions in Bad Boys II. In any event I really enjoyed Bad Boys for Life. A few days left guys.

Kicking myself for not grabbing BB when La-La released it. Any chance of this getting a rerelease?

I honestly forgot about the linear notes talking about it too!

If this is against the rules to share something from ebay please delete this post.

Otherwise, this seller has it for 59.99. If you have a little disposable cash I'd say it's worth it. Supposedly it's brand new. Thing is though it ships from Taiwan. Seller has good ratings.

Try Backtrack in the UK. Bad Boys is listed in their latest catalogue.

It does sound like it from what I recall.

I don't remember that full "Bad Boys For Life" track in the movie. Maybe a snippet when the title came up.

Gave it my first full listen through at work. Digging it so far. Need to have a better listen in private though. We Ride Together We Die Together is great. Bad Boys For Life is a modernized version of Mancina’s theme. Pretty cool too. Well worth the price folks.

Exactly my thoughts. Super cool to hear these themes again. I'd also love to hear what Mancina thinks of his themes being used again.
