Kev, it still amazes me, and not in the good way, that from 8 billion plus humans on Earth, there are only a ridiculous 2000 figure of die-hard film music aficionados people to buy such a release.... 2000, it's absolutely nothing.....It's not a figure, it's peanuts. How is it just possible?. Yes, I have pondered that before. Really somewhat sad. I mean, I perfectly understand that music tastes differ. Music taste is unique to every culture, and within that culture may vary greatly from individual to individual, and I understand that stuff like LEGEND, a (in the US) unused film score by a composer who has been dead for over a decade won't sell as many copies as a new Kanye West album, but it IS really somewhat disheartening that of 8 billion people, just a few thousand are really interested in such a release. I played lots of film music to people who otherwise never bothered with it and they were often impressed at how interesting and varied film scores can be. So at least I tried to get out the word over the years.

Well, I am stunned that Morricone releases like the fabulous VERGOGNA SCHIFOSI are only 500 units and not selling out. Morricone is reverred like a God and yet you can't sell 500 copies of one of his very best scores, albeit a score from a film hardly anybody has ever seen. There was once a time 500 copies from a minor composer would sell out in less than a day, never mind someone of the stature of Ennio Morricone. What can we conclude? On the other hand the demand for the most recent iteration of Star Trek II seems to have caught people by surprise. Cheers

Intrada have stocked all other previous Music Box releases in the past. They're probably still in bed. I'm sure they will add it to their contents page by the end of the day, along with the new Delerue, Morricone and Bolling titles. Order up to 8 CD's from them and watch the postage lower dramatically. Also, customs is never an issue. I beg to differ on that last point. I've been stung for customs a few times with my CDs from the US. Not for a while though, to be fair. Cheers

I've always regretted passing on the Silva Screen CD. I won't repeat that mistake. Generous stretches of all-time greatness from Mr. Goldsmith.
