I want to apologize -- between suites, laziness, and life just sucking really hard, I have been completely absent in updating my Rejected Film Scores website. I logged into today just to add your book and a purchase link to the top of the page:

http://rejectedfilmscores.125mb.com/list.html

Again, sorry for the delays.

https://asturscore.com/noticias/the-musical-world-of-marc-shaiman-by-sergio-hardasmal/

This is the first book published worldwide dedicated to the complete work of Marc Shaiman.

In 2020 it was published in Spanish. It has finally been translated into English by Alex Massana.

Inside the book and in the cover there are illustrations based on the characters from the films to which Marc Shaiman has put music, and which are the work of Andres Antunez.

The artist Javier De la Cruz Garcia has painted a watercolor with the portrait of Shaiman, expressly thinking of the cover of this book.

At the same time, a second edition has been published in Spanish, updated, revised and expanded.

An extensive and rigorous work written after years of studying the composer's work and written in a pleasant and simple style, analyzing the music and its use with the image.

Movies, musicals, tv series, single songs for ceremony galas and pop stars, pilot episodes or even the Castle Rock logo... everything has been analyzed in detail, including in some cases opinions of the composer himself and his collaborators, after a detailed research and analysis of lots of interviews published in magazines and specialized media.
All possible aspects of Marc Shaiman´s career are included in the book as composer, as lyricist and as actor, and more...
