I either didn't know or completely forgot, but there's a new MiB movie coming out. The trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BV-WEb2oxLk Looks like another piss-poor sequel with bad casting to top it off. Anyway, who is scoring this? I looked around and couldn't find any confirmation. Wiki sites says Danny Elfman.

That's not what is shown in the trailer. We see original MiB universe coffee worms, original MiB universe designs for what I assume is the same HQ, original MiB universe entrance with the man sitting in the chair with the giant fan behind him. This places it in the original, so it's not a reboot, but just new characters and perhaps a new setting. And, as a side note, it would also be a promoting fail because the generic original trailer music used briefly the string chugging from Elfman's main title to the original film.

Second vote to bring back the pandas. Every once in a while a user creates an avatar that's permanently associated with that user in some people's mind, and that pandas one was such an avatar.

In other news, the word "reboot" seems to have lost its original meaning (same premise, but starting from scratch) and now seems to mean either an attempt to reinvigorate a slumping property or even just a sequel delayed by many years. I have nothing but contempt for that accursed word.
