I am a-quiver with excitement.

I am curious how they will manage to fit all of that on to one CD, though. The DCC version ran over 74 minutes, the additional material from "The Well of Souls" that appeared exclusively on the heavy vinyl release alone would push the disc over the 80 minute mark, but this has many more additions than that. Perhaps it will be a two disc set?

This bodes extremely well for their upcoming releases of the other two Indy scores. Last Crusade had a longer album than the other two but there is still plenty of music in that film that I'd love to hear (especially that alternate tank chase cue. More importantly, this might mean that we'll finally get a decent presentation of the Williams' sublime contribution to Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, hands down my favorite Indy score as a stand-alone listen.

Marian, where are you? I know that you're excited, too!

I'm gonna keep my mouth shut on the whole expansion thing this time, but it's great to hear that these scores will be more widely available again. Last time I heard, all of them (not only TEMPLE OF DOOM) were becoming increasingly hard to find to a decent price.

Also, if TEMPLE OF DOOM ever comes along, that's a score that belongs in my exception to the rule-category. The existing album is fine, but it wouldn't be hurt by a 70+ minute, single-CD presentation either.

Cripes. I have to buy this score again? smile

If INDY IV on dvd is what it takes to get the original scores expanded, that's a fair deal.

The concert arrangement of The Raiders March is not present here, so that frees up 3 minutes. All 3 of the extra tracks (5, 10, and 16, right?) are about 1 minute or less. Can't wait to hear Washington Men in great fidelity!

It might fit on one disc. Great news any way you cut it!

The excitement of an expanded TEMPLE and CRUSADE might convince me to give another listen to SKULL, my first since June...

Temple of Doom expanded. That's unbelievable, it's what I've been waiting for over 20 years. I feel complete!

SKULL's a really fun score. I think the disappointment over the film may have overshadowed it a bit, but it's got lots of great moments. Technically, the miking and mixing is stunning.

I already have all four scores (the DCC RAIDERS and the TEMPLE OF DOOM import), but yeah, this is a set I will gladly shell out the money for. Especially for the expanded TOD and some of my favorite missing cues from LAST CRUSADE.

Now if only this set had included an expanded CRYSTAL SKULL as well. frown
