Does anybody hear/see this?

"Batman: The Animated Series" (Volume 2)

Track 41 from "Heart of Ice". Somewhere about 1:56 in I can hear, and see in Audacity, a tick. It's in the right channel only.

I recorded it while it was playing, using Audacity, since I couldn't get it to rip.

Expanded edition of Armageddon is not agreed to by Trevor Rabin - he is entitled to it and we have nothing to do with it - and this has been a known fact for many years.

And all of Warner's titles can't be released by anyone - that's also a known fact, as the labels including LLL have repeatedly written about - so why write about the Batmans?? People, think first.

True, but people will continue to hope and dream, so there is nothing wrong with (occasionally) asking nicely about W.B. Batman titles. smile Displaying interest and enthusiasm is hopefully all right.

And things can change at any time. As far as I'm concerned, so long as WB and Dynamic Music Partners don't issue Adventures of Batman & Robin and The New Batman Adventures digitally like they have Justice League and other subsequent DCAU titles, there's justifiable hope (and perhaps reason to read between the lines) for a CD release.

Also, it's worth keeping in mind that TAoB&R has music from - I believe - nine composers in total, so that doesn't sound as though it would be a viable Dynamic Soundtrack Records release. DSR releases have so far only been DMP (and DMP with Shirley Walker, in the case of Batman Beyond Vol. 1) releases.

Interesting, I didn't realize. I typically ignore digital releases. Did Justice League and Batman Beyond use other composers besides DMP/Walker, and had their scores skipped on the digital releases presumably because they're not part of DMP?

I guess either way the lack of digital releases would still make CD releases more viable.

Nope: Batman Beyond was all DMP and Shirley Walker, and Justice League and Justice League Unlimited were all DMP. Teen Titans -- which has also had a few releases at this point -- was also all DMP. smile

What is DMP, please.

Ah, so it kind of worked out for DMP and it's possible these digital releases exist in part because of this convenience. Never knew. I guess it's a good thing the music is out in some form (but I'm happy to be patient for Adventures and TNBA to make it to CD; if it truly seems impossible eventually, THEN I'll support digital releases). smile

Dynamic Music Partners, the company formed by Walker proteges Michael McCuistion, Lolita Ritmanis and Kristopher Carter.

We carefully encode each one of our discs with metadata about each track and recently have been encoding them with isrcs. As for Gracenote one of our fans usually ends up uploading the info...on occasion one of our producers does.

Is there any possibility the ISRCs could be published online? I'm on a MusicBrainz data entry kick at the moment and would love to be able to enter them for LLL releases, but frankly none of the online databases are proving useful in finding them.

(Ideally without being too much of a burden - just lines of catalog numbers + track numbers + ISRCs would be enough.)

The 60th anniversary of the release of the movie "Up The Down Staircase" will soon be here (in 2027). It would be nice to have a CD release of the soundtrack (expanded, too)!

If you're using a Mac you can read the ISRCs using the Terminal.

For what? So that 5 people including you buy it? People, understand that record company is not a charity, and with titles like this, the label won't pay the bills, because it has never sold a whole print run in its life.

LLL: Should we accept that the studio recordings and source cues that did not make it onto the 50th anniversary remasters for The Godfather I + II are going to be lost for good now, or is there still hope for a feature project?

I realize there might be material degradation and straight up loss or theft at play over the span of those 50 years, but you guys were able to source things that are not even published in the score guide, after all. My compliments! Fans worldwide thank you for your efforts.

If memory serves Intrada released some teen beach movie soundtrack (PALM SPRINGS WEEKEND?) as a favor to a friend.
So it's happened before!
