No, "The Night of the Puppeteer" is presented from the mono music stem. We had access to the acetate transfer and it was useful for reference, but the stem sounded better. Lukas

Fantastic THE WILD WILD WEST set, received yesterday, and I've heard three times ... continuously! By the way, talking about WEST, waiting now, La-La Land, until December this year the triple set of BATMAN ADAM WEST TV-Series! I suspect that the B-named hero getting the box set from La-La Land this year is Buffy, not Batman. I have hope that this year, in honor of Adam West, La-La Land will launch this set ... at least they have hope in relation to this…one day (!): La-La Land Facebook page: 'Question - How about the next time, Batman/Adam West TV Series Complete Box? La-La Land Records - My holiest grail. Hopefully one day'

To all people who own the set, What are your favorite scores? Well, very complicated to choose because the composers of this series were very eclectic, and sometimes the melodies/compositions, depended on the type of story, I think. Anyway, I have a personal list, in order of preference, of my TOP 5: 1- Richard Shores - The Night Of The Firebrand 2- Richard Markowitz - The Night Of Jack O'Diamonds 3- Harry Geller - The Night The Dragon Screamed 3- Richard Markowitz - The Night Of The Golden Cobra 4- Fred Steiner - The Night Of The Undead And what are your preferences (Member)?

Does anyone know where to find a hi-res, or even medium-res version of La-La Land's album cover for The Wild Wild West. I usually nail these album covers, web-wise, but this one is eluding me, and La-La Land's cover on their webpage is not good.

To all people who own the set, What are your favorite scores? 5 years on since this 2017 release, I've been listening to these scores in earnest over the past few weeks. I've also been re-reading this thread to absorb other members' input and I must say my assessment upon this series' music is rather different than those by most fans of this TV show. The popularity of the "Firebrand" seems (to me) because of its trendy '60s 'spy' vernacular. This segment is not a fave with me, though, and my preferences are for those arrangements utilizing atypical instruments, especially other-worldly electronic keyboards, and the rare (infrequent) 12-tone theme. disc 1 Robert Drasnin's "The Night the Wizard Shook the Earth" (the 12-tone theme) "The Night of the Burning Diamond" by Richard Shores (SoloVox?) disc 2 "The Night of the Glowing Corpse" by Richard Markowitz (Novachord) "The Night of the Golden Cobra" by Markowitz (sitar) "The Night of the Raven" by Markowitz (blend of horror with the 'Western') disc 3 Drasnin's "The Night of the Man-Eating House" (8 celli, accordion, etc.) disc 4 "The Night of the Sedgewick Curse" by Shores (electric organ) "The Night of the Kraken" by Shores (electronic keyboards, 3 percussionists, etc.) As Robert Prince is absent, and only one out of the five scores by Jack Pleis is present, I wish for more representation on disc for composers who provided more than just a single musical contribution. The disc space taken up by Fred Steiner, Scharf & Grusin could have, instead, been for 1 Prince and 2 Pleis (or 1 Pleis with 1 more Geller). In summary, I consider disc 2 to be the best of Markowitz, whilst disc 4 is great for Shores. I think Drasnin excels when he arranged for strings in his ensembles.
