Recently:

A bush had several little gift bags hanging on it. On the bags was written "Free!"

What was inside?

Something I'll never use....

I was just enjoying my first bite of pumpkin pie when I saw this image. Thanks buddy!

Your wife probably gets guff like this hourly. She must turn off her hearing aid when she sees your car arriving home. smile

I play deaf all the time. It's called survival instinct.

My mum has told the tale that, many years ago, my dad was once found by the curb, surrounded by a skattering of small complementary soap.

Why in the name of Kendall are so many people putting out at the curb cans of green beans?

For a while there recently, I was seeing a LOT of food processors being chucked.

Is there some new hyper-fashionable device that does this now, that everyone's buying?

Yes it's called the help. Well that's what we refer to ours as.

My guess is that a lot of people bought them during COVID, thinking they would cook more at home. Said cooking didn't happen and now that things are opening up again, decided to finally get rid of them.

Round my way stuff by the curb( of possible use) has dwindled. We're down dog shit (some in little bags) and tramps.

Don't forget to add "empty boner pill wrapper" to your list.

Seeing a lot of file cabinets lately.

I guess everyone's scanning their phone bills from 1977, instead of keeping the paper copy. smile

A few days ago, I saw, out on the curb, just waiting for someone to come along

An unopened pack of Pop-Tarts, atop a pair of bongos.

If I had taken those home, I could have invited over a few of my guy-pals, tossed aside my shorts, and been the next Matthew McConaghey

Plus had a sweet snack at the same time!

I bet they were out of date, though.

I, recently, came across a half eaten/ravaged pigeon. It disappeared for a few days and then reappeared. I think one of the neighbours must have realised that there was still a bit of good meat on it. Times are hard.

You can eat food past its "freshness" date. I do it all the time.

Pop Tarts have no nutrients. They can't possibly spoil! smile
