The original Robert Stack run of this show was put up on Amazon Prime recently and I've gotten a huge kick out of revisiting what scared the living bejesus out of me as an impressionable kid.
One of the show's biggest strengths in that regard is the creepy score, by Gary Malkin. I remembered the main theme of course, which I couldn't forget even if I wanted to, but rewatching the show as an adult I can pull my face up over the blanket and gain a real appreciation for how well the show was scored as a whole. It's a very close cousin to THE X FILES, with Malkin creating a similarly haunting synthetic soundscape that's abstract enough to work in the format and specific enough to give each vignette some punch and personality. It's really the secret weapon of the show.
I don't have time to rummage through every post in the LLL questions thread but my first thought was whether they'd ever looked at this title. Any release with the main theme would garner some mainstream attention I'm sure.
There are more but last one for now before I fully succumb to the fetal position. This episode is probably one where like a little kid let some random dude in the house who then went downstairs into the cellar and murdered the kid's mom before disappearing into the woods behind my house and OH MY GOD WHAT AM I DOING.
There was one about a friendly ghost watching over a family - it was their grandpa or something - and when they cut to a POV shot of the little girl looking at the foot of her bed, it cut to a shot of THE GHOST GRANDPA ALREADY REACHING TOWARD HER. I actually got up and ran away, it was THAT scary.
The "joke" I made above about the little kid letting the murderer in the house was on the first show I watched recently on Prime. It happened about 20 minutes from where I grew up. It made me very anxious. I am much older than 22.

Yeah, I was thrilled at the addition of the REAL Unsolved Mysteries, but after two episodes I was like NOPE, I NEED TO SLEEP COMFORTABLY INSTEAD.
I do hope that someone gets digital rights for this.

I got down to Payment Billing Address filled it all out correctly and it said ENTER THE REQUIRED INFORMATION so I wasn't able to continue and I tired different addresses etc. nothing worked. I emailed the company so we'll see. Can't wait to finally hear this music, woo hoo!
