Roger Feigelson writes:

If the manufacturing and shipping gods smile upon us, expect then next release then. Some expanded edition for something from the mid-80s. Something like that.

"Expansion" and "80's" are two of my favorite things. big grin Now someone please remind me of Rogers definition of "Mid 80's"? wink

If we get any more clues like "Historical Epic" I'm gonna guess, Land Before Time COMPLETE!

An American Tail is closer to mid 80s than Land Before Time, but will they release ANOTHER Horner so soon after all the other ones?

Thus my asking what do we mean by "mid 80's".

I'll be satisfied with that too.

1980 - 1983 = early 80s
1984 - 1986/7= mid 80s
1987/8 - 1989 = late 80s

To me anyway smile

...but will they release ANOTHER Horner so soon after all the other ones?

'Cause now they can do it much easier, than in previous years, when composer COULD say that he don't want to see this or that score at all.

I'd flip for a complete American Tail, especially considering how bad the existing MCA album sounds. Just don't pull a Secret Of NIMH and still leave off several cues. (and I know Intrada rescued everything they could, but it still stung frown).

We should relax.
It's likely something by Richard Band.

Ah, I hadn't eve thought of the song Somewhere Out There.

An American Tail is an excellent guess.

About two years ago, Roy Budd's widow and I inquired about the rights to Roy's FIELD OF HONOR, only to be informed by MGM that the rights had already been acquired by an American label. The time might have come - but, of course, there are plenty of other mid-80s scores out there.

I've been tipped off that it's a much-expanded, ultra-deluxe edition of the exciting 1984 score Intrada released back in 2009 – Dov Seltzer's "The 7 Magnificent Gladiators ".

Well given Roger's play on words above, the word 'some' has to come into it. I doubt it's Conan The Destroyer.
