The search engine doesn't work, and Google doesn't find any FSM messageboard hits on this either.

In any case, after having known about it for years, I got this relatively recently and loving it. Yes, it's suffering a bit from the "Rachel Portman syndrome" wherein a single theme is repeated and varied a bit too much, but it's lovely and possibly Wiseman's best score.

A Google search of... site:www.filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts "debbie wiseman" wilde

Like her "Father Brown" theme. Repeated to death.

That is definitely what I remember about this score. I liked it a lot, but it was like a symphony based on one theme. Which really, I guess I should be grateful for. I listened to this score when I was on a kick of trying to select my favorite cue from an album, but this felt like trying to pick a single Zebra out of a dazzle.

Yes, but it has no dedicated thread.

In any case, I agree with the previous comments, although - so far - the mono-thematic approach doesn't grate as much as it does in many Portman scores, for example.

We do get one track that's different - Wilde West. I remember liking that a fair bit( haven't played it in a while).
