A CD has been released. Bizarrely, the Amazon listing says it was released on November 18, but I haven't seen it before now when I've searched it. Of course, the Amazon search engines are so useless that I may have missed it. They're run by algorithms that prioritize useless junk that has nothing to do with the search terms. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BMMB3KBT

FYI, the CD is 30 tracks of selected highlights, dropping some tracks from the 41-track digital album, much like the CD for Netflix's The Midnight Sky.

It's a 'nice' score but then everything Desplat has written in the last 4 or 5 years has been 'nice'. I just wish he would get his mojo back and let the orchestra rip for a change. Use the LSO in the right way.

FYI, I'm listening to the CD now, and thought it would be useful to list the tracks from the digital release that are not on the CD. Note that it's a bit confusing, because the tracks on the CD and digital release are in an entirely different order. Neither one is film order, but the digital version seems MUCH closer to film order. Exclusive digital tracks: 15. Friendship With Candlewick (1:26) 17. Resurrection (1:42) 19. Small Lies (0:50) 21. In the Army (0:50) 23. Volpe’s Charm (1:38) 25. The Blue Fairy (2:32) 28. Capice (2:00) 29. Pinocchio’s Solitude (0:59) 30. Il Duce (1:04) 36. Papa! (0:50) 41. Farewell to Geppetto (0:24)
