Here's a pretty old site that covers the everything you need to know about the Prehistoric Scenes.

Seeing the Sealab kit put a big smile on my face.
I loved that kit.

I just recalled a long-suppressed memory...
Ages ago there was a modelers contest put on by one of the smaller local department stores.
I entered with my "Pain Parlor" build (what I referred to earlier as the torture chamber).
I won the trophy, but it wasn't until many years later that I realized I might have been the only entrant!

Still, the trophy was cool--I still have a pic buried around here somewhere (probably best left buried!)...

Did anyone build these models as a kid?

Never bothered. I thought it was a load of borealis.

What did you do for fun as a kid, burn ants with lit matches?

No, pulled some of their legs, so they could limp.

I was able to get this off of Ebay about 20 years ago for around $85-$90 dollars. Opened but complete, un-assembled with decals. It was a steal for that condition and price.

Look at a current bid on Ebay!!!!

Here's a pic of the model in my collection-

Wonder why Gene Roddenberry didn't put out a series of STAR TREK TOS Model Kits that featured the sexy ladies of Star Trek. We all know his admiration for the, as he put it "Scantily Clad" females.

Mudd's Woman would have made a nice 3-Pak.

So many sexy gals on Star Trek to choose from.

I can just see a terrifying Gorn with an Orion Slave Girl combination.

How about Ruk & Andrea at the controls as a Kirk doll spins around on the large wheel?

Unfortunately they'd be toned down and not very enticing. The Aurora Cromagnon Woman design was adjusted before its production run. They lowered her dress and gave her a breast reduction.

I would not be surprised if there ever was a Shahna figurine.

Moebius Models are releasing a Linda Carter Wonder Woman model kit. The proportions are way off.
She looks 13 in this sculpt.

They don't make Sci Fi conventions like they used to.

Is that Elke Sommer?

Angelique Pettyjohn. She went into porn in the 80's.

In thought I'd seen her somewhere.
