Ive made no secret about it, I absolutely hate this Godzilla design. It's so wrong on so many levels. I'm also not a fan of making King Kong the size of Godzilla. I know its a monster but it destroys my suspension of disbelief to see an ape that big. It couldn't possibly exist or survive at that size.

I was initially ok with this Godzilla’s overall look, not so much the tiny head. I think this new one and the new Kaiju are way too big.
I prefer the original Gojira at 50 meters tall.
If they want to make Kong that size (the 1933 version was ~50 feet tall?), fine; it worked ok for King Kong vs Godzilla (1962).
You’re right, how could a 100-meter-tall ape sustain itself, unless it went carnivorous and ate whales, etc., unless its home island also had giant-sized plant life.
Pffftt..what’s the diff – these films don’t deserve such scrutiny, anyway.

It's like we should start a Nerd War thread.

Looking at the toys for the movie it appears they improved Zilla's proportions. The head is bigger, the gut is smaller, arms are longer and have more flexibility. The legs are still way to beefy, so are the spines on the back. Anyone noticed Kong appears to have a battle axe made out of Godzilla's spine fins?
