Dear Fellow Fans:

Can any of you help me locate the past posts where there was mention of some Universal TV Soundtracks? I tried searching under FSM, but they haven't come up. Any help would be appreciated.

In what context?

I know in all the TV scoring threads I have done, I've probably done some that were Universal.

there was some discussion about some Universal scores such as Columbo, possibly, possibly getting a release. Possibly a rumor, but there was some talk.

No, just wishful thinking by members; no rumors or hints yet.

The only Universal TV associated score I am interested in is John Addison's magnificent score to the "maxi" mini-series CENTENNIAL.

I love '70s Universal TV scores and I hope we get some more releases soon. I personally *feel* that one of the big labels is working on a set of "Night Gallery" scores, first and foremost because I believe it would be profitable - the show has a dedicated cult following and the music is excellent. It would also probably fly off the tables at horror conventions. It seems like a natural choice.

I think the OP may be thinking of the Universal Heritage (now Classic) Collection thread(s).

Discussion of TV scores that may (or may not) get released pop up in posts scattered across the 19 pages.

Yes. that's it. Thank you so much. I probably misunderstood the context of releases discussed. Still hoping that some of it turns out to be true.

Does anyone know which of the "big labels" might be working of these scores? Granted, it might be a "feeling," For some reason, I thought these rumors were true, but I guess I was premature.

An old acquaintance of mine thought the Night Gallery music was the scariest music ever. It must have been intense to stay in one's mind like that.

Any other specualtions would be appreciated.

If there had been a rumor or hint, there'd be a thread about it with multiple pages by now.

As Justin wrote, there have been no rumors or hints about "Night Gallery." It just seems like a natural choice to me, especially in terms of potential profitability. If it were released this year, it would also tie in nicely with the recently released book “Rod Serling’s Night Gallery: The Art of Darkness."

I think my favorite "Night Gallery" score (and episode, for that matter) is “Silent Snow, Secret Snow" by Paul Glass, which is just gorgeous.

Just hoping that we'll soon have a "Columbo" set smile

I asked him what context and he brought up "Columbo"; I was referring to "Columbo".

EDIT:
The post is gone; somebody said I was mentioning "Night Gallery".
