I just wanted to show some love for this amazing score.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but the soundtrack is just magical!

I hope this will get a physical release.

I'm not familiar with Hart's work, I need to dig into this artist's work

His score for A Ghost Story is one of the 10 best scores of the past ten years.

I agree and was going to post similar. The film here has gotten pushed back again but I listened to the score yesterday and it really pulled me into it as the album went on. I was thinking that moments almost reminded me of Mark Koven’s The Witch although not quite as bleak.
I really liked Daniel Hart’s previous A Ghost Story and, although his music almost destroyed the first series of The Exorcist for me ( sorry Daniel), this is another winner.

So pretty much no interest in this?

It certainly is. Top 10 of the century so far maybe.

71 mins. is way too long for this material. Edit the album down to about 35-40 minutes and you might arrive at a less monotonous listening experience.

I disagree. This is the perfect length to me. very much like the movie (i saw it last night).
It's a slow haunting score and deserves this length to unfold the world and tale it accompanies.

This is a score to seat down and listen attentively.

I have trouble getting into Hart. I was never as enamoured with A GHOST STORY as everyone else seemed to be, and when I recently sampled THE LAST LETTER FROM YOUR LOVER, that didn't do much for me either. The only way I can describe it is "Desplat-like plodding".

Listening to THE GREEN KNIGHT, it has some interesting colours and orchestrational choices, but doesn't really spark any great interest either. Perhaps he's just not for me.

Curious about the film, though.

That's interesting what you're saying Thor, cause I cecked his other scores after discovering The Green Knight and I also have a hard time connecting with them.
There's something with this last one that really speaks to me.

If it is at least half as good as PETE'S DRAGON and someone releases it PROPERLY. I am certainly in.
Until then... well... I can hardly comment.

You could a) go see the movie, or b) just stream it somewhere, or c) buy it on digital. Don't give me this no CD = no sale bullshit...if you want to check it out, just do it.

Given this is one of the most music forward movies I've seen in years, 71 minutes is appropriate for the material.
